Biscuit with walnuts
Lngredients
Dough
3 cup plainflour
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 tespoon vanilla
2 1/2 pack butter ( 113g) , melted
Filling
2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup honey or syrup
3 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup cream
Preparation
Beat butter and sugar until light and
Fluffy , heat in egg yolk , add flour ,
Baking powder , and vanilla , knead
Until smooth dough, cover, stand for
10 minutes.
Mix all filling ingredients together.
Divide dough into small balls 1.5 cm .
Flatten each ba and press onto
Bottom and upsides of ungreased
Miniature muffin cups, spoon 1/2
Teaspoon filling into each cup .
Bake in moderate oven for 20 minutes
Cool in pans 15 minutes , sprinkle
With custard sugar . if desired .
