Kaloodi cake


Lngredients



1                                    cup plain flour

3/4         cup sugar

1/3         cup oil

2                                    egg

1                                    cup milk

1                                    teaspoon baking powder

1                                    teaspoon vanilla

4           teaspoon cherry jam

1/4         cup slivered almonds for garnish

Filling 


2                                    cup whipped cream

3                                    pineapple ring

4                                    tablespoon cream cheese

preparation


grease a deep 20 cm round cake pan

heat oil and sugar in small bowl with

electric mixer for 2 minutes

beat in egg and vanilla one at a time ,

beat until combined

transfer mixture to a large bowl,

stir in half the combined sifted flour

with baking flour and milk

pour the mixture into prepared pan

bake in moderate oven for about 40

minutes , turn on wire rack to cool

cut cake 3 layers

prepare the filling by process

pineapple until mashed . add whipped

 cream and cream chesse , beat until

homogenous batter

spread 2 tablespoon jam on one layer

cover with one third of cream mixture

cover with second layer spread with the

remaining jam , cover with cteam and

repeat for the layre , spread the

remaning cream over top and sides of
cack, press slivered almonds on top and

sides refrigerate before serving .
